Queer McGill has started a campaign to finish decades long efforts to remove instances of automated deadnaming and misgendering. All issues we're aware of have been reported to McGill administration, and we're tracking their progress on solving them here.

Please reach out to us if you're changing your name, prefix, or gender at McGill, especially if you're experiencing issues or if you've filed IT tickets. Email admin.qm@ssmu.ca.

* If you’ve set a preferred name and email alias, and you want to fix this problem, you should email heidi.emami@mcgill.ca with an email that goes along these lines: I’m writing to request accommodation as a trans student; I was hoping to have the name [PREFERRED NAME], and the associated email address with [PREFERRED NAME] appear in more places than it is right now.
